It has been a wonderful journey and we are grateful for all the memories that we have made together. We want to thank you for your support and love for Disney Crossy Road over the years. We hope that you will continue to enjoy crossing the road with your favorite Disney and Pixar characters in the 8-bit worlds that we have created for you. However, you will still be able to play the game offline with all the classic, rare and epic characters that you have unlocked so far. You will also not be able to access any online features, such as the daily missions and weekend challenges.
This means that you will no longer be able to download or update the game, or make any in-app purchases after this date.
After 4 amazing years of running Disney Crossy Road, we will be shutting down the game on March 12, 2020. The official announcement from the developers was posted on their Facebook page, which read: "Dear Crossy Road fans, We have some sad news to share with you. The game was released on March 28, 2016[^1^ ) and was discontinued on March 12, 2020.
